We convey the most distressing message that our Most Venerable Liao Chung Mahathera, the President of WBSC cum the Abbot of Shan Dao Temple, passed away in Shan Dao Temple of Taipei, Taiwan, on 9th March, 2022. His Holiness was 91 years old. To follow his will, there will be no funeral ceremony held. The cremation ceremony will be held on 22 March, 2022 and the sarira will be enshrined at Shan Dao Temple of Taipei, Taiwan.

According to the resolution of the Tenth General Conference in Penang, Malaysia and after the coordination, the First Meeting of the Tenth Executive Committee of WBSC will be organized by Macao Buddhist (International) Federation and held at Macao from October 29th (Tuesday) to November 2nd (Saturday) 2019.
